Hi! My name is Russ. Welcome to RS Notes, my home on the web.
This is not my first blog: I began my first of 3 wordpress blogs (the freebie versions) in 2009. By sometime in 2016, my motivation to post had generally dried up, and with the exception of a few one-off blog posts thereafter, I’ve been mostly quiet since.1
After ten years of relative dormancy related to blogging, I’m starting again in a new place. This is my first time using a light platform like this, and I have a bit to learn (and have learned quite a bit already!). I think I'm going to enjoy it.
I have no specific aims, no stated goals or purpose, professed expertise or niche for this space; I’m simply ready to start blogging again.
